Current Social Science Research Reports

Beginning with today's post (July 7, 2009), our CSSRR reports will be delivered via a blog. The CSSRR-DISC blog is available at:

http://www.disc.wisc.edu/info

By switching from static web pages to a blog, we hope to achieve the following results:

1. Users will now be able to find new resources at their convenience, not a preset schedule. The blog can be accessed at any time, or can be accessed via an RSS feed (http://www.disc.wisc.edu/info/?feed=rss). A link to the RSS feed can also be found on the right sidebar of the blog. We will continue, for the time being, to provide a single weekly email (on Tuesday afternoons) reminding users that new content has been added. Links to old static web page reports can be found below.

2. The blog will provide users with more flexibility accessing report items. When you open our blog page, you will notice that report items are entered sequentially. Each item is filed under one or more of several categories under Economics, Health, and Sociology. Users can click on any category to sort the entire listing of CSSRR items by that category. Simply click on the title "DISC-CSSRR Blog" at the top of the page to return to the main page of the blog. In addition, the entire blog is searchable.

DISC also presents the Current Awareness in Aging Report (CAAR), a weekly report from the Center for Demography of Human Aging (CDHA) that helps researchers keep up to date with the latest developments in the field of aging.
