Principal Investigator:
Peter H. Smith

Election and census data include voter participation variables (number of registered voters, number voted, presidential election results, gubernatorial election results, social and economic characteristics of electoral districts [total population, population growth rate, urban population, number of Argentine-born males]), variables to measure geographical mobility, number of landholdings, hectares in use, number of tenant farmers, predominant rural production, number of employees, salaries and wages. Land tenure data (number of holdings) and type of industrial activity, level of urbanization, and immigration variables are also available. The transformed data file contains percentage variables created from the raw data in KD-501-001.
